Mark your calendars! Once again this year, Full Circle has joined the wonderful Sweat For Sight initiative that seeks to raise funds to help eradicate preventable blindness.

On Thursday October 12, come and join us for a 7pm blindfolded Pilates mat class led by Full Circle instructor Alison Ward.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Seva Canada, and here is a breakdown of how your participation in this event can truly make a difference–we encourage everyone to bring a friend and sign-up now online here!

Drop-in Fee – 5 prescription glasses to children

Globally, 18 million children are visually impaired or suffer from blindness. Children who have trouble seeing are often unable to get an education. A simple pair of prescription glasses can open the door of opportunity for these children and help them to read and learn. By dropping in to this class, you can cover the cost of 5 prescription glasses and help to bring the world into focus for 5 children living in low-income countries.

Full Class – Train a Cataract Surgeon

An estimated 39 million people are blind around the world yet 80% of global blindness is treatable or preventable. In fact, half of the world’s blindness is caused by cataract, a reversible condition that requires a 15 minute, $50 operation. With a full class, Full Circle Studio can help fund the training of a local eye surgeon to cure the blindness of thousands of people every year, restoring their dignity, independence and productivity.
