Full Circle Studio - Pilates Mat Class (Vancouver, BC)

Winter has arrived in Vancouver! Today on the blog, we want to pass along some inspiring winter activities to dive into to keep our spirits up and our hearts and bodies warm.

1) Join us for a class at Full Circle Studio.

Of course we couldn’t leave this one out… At Full circle, we love any excuse to cozy up in doors and get our bodies energized and feeling alive. Not to mention, it’s lovely to have a sense of community and see familiar faces during these darker months. At Full Circle we offer Privates as well as Mat & Reformer classes accessible to all levels. Visit our website here to find more information on our services and rates.

2) Visit The Eastside Flea.

We’re huge fans of supporting local businesses at Full Circle. Visit the Eastside Flea and feast your eyes (and mouths) on a banquet of over 50 local vendors offering everything from handmade crafts & vintage clothing to delicious artisan treats. Not to mention it’s a wonderful opportunity to do your Holiday gift shopping! In fact, on December 1st and 15th they will be hosting a Holiday Handmade Pop-Up Market! To find out more, visit their website here.

3) Stroll the Festival of Lights and VanDusen Gardens.

Bundle up with your loved ones, enjoy some hot chocolate and be dazzled by millions of intricately ornamented gardens and botanical displays at VanDusen Gardens. A couple of sights include different interactive themed installations as well as Dancing Light shows on Livingston Lake. To find out more on The Festival of Lights at VanDusen Gardens, visit their website here.

4) Go snowshoeing on the Grouse Mountain.

In Vancouver we are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by snow capped mountains which are practically begging to be played in! Snowshoeing is a wonderful way to leisurely enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife, meanwhile getting some solid exercise. Grouse Mountain is just a short distance from the city and offers 4 different trails to choose from. Visit Grouse’s website here to find out more information.

5) Check out a film at the Rio Theatre.

The Rio is located on Broadway & Commercial Drive, in the heart of East Van and has been voted the number one theatre in East Vancouver as a multimedia venue for independent cinema and live entertainment. From cult classics to sci-fi thrillers, the Rio has it all! Treat yourself to an epic film, some popcorn and a truly unique cinematic experience.
